First artwork of 2008, finally. This was inspired by a mix of book illustrators, including: Glin Dibley, Stephen Gilpin, Aaron Jasinski and Antonio Javier Caparo.
It was so much fun to draw and paint, not only because it is very different from my usual stuff, but because I got to experiment with a looooot of brushes in painter I never ever used before. There are a lot I like now (=
The title means: "Maybe everything is upside down". The idea came from hearing a song by Chetes entitled "Poco a poco". It said that exact phrase. Don't ask for the meaning of the background it is totally random, not to mention the light source, haha. Anyway hope you guys like.
